MEET THE OWNER

Georgette DeLong has over 20 years of experience in training, process improvement and project implementation.  A leader by nature, she successfully built a national call center for a global automotive supplier as well as a healthcare reform training program, reaching thousands of healthcare insurance professionals.  Her success stems from being a natural leader coupled with her success as a business consultant and trainer.  Georgette is driven by that “light bulb moment”- that moment when she sees that she has reached her audience, giving them the “aha!” that makes them stronger individuals.  Sometimes that moment happens during a training session, other times it’s by simplifying a process or it may be when a project is completed on time and budget.

Being able to turn that light bulb on (and hopefully make some money along the way), she started her own venture Corr Training and Consulting. Georgette’s experience comes from a multitude of industries: accounting, retail, banking, health insurance, staffing, and automotive. She has served in various capacities including: trainer, marketing manager, operations analyst, project manager and process consultant. The evolution of her career has fostered adaptability and astuteness lending to the understanding of core business requirements. Regardless of the industry or title, she has always been drawn toward the same outcome: figuring out how to help employees – and ultimately the company– operate more effectively.

As a CMU graduate with a public administration focus, she understands both the public and private sectors.

The key to Georgette’s success is simple: She is able to take complicated concepts and simplify them, breaking them down into terms that bring that “aha!” to employees, and makes it fun and easy.
